Who is daily bread coaching
That’s me, Arthur Johnson, and my wife Jacqueline. I had just finished my second marathon. I dropped over an hour off my previous attempt at the same race. I was so incredibly proud of myself (I still am).
But you’re still wondering who I am. I am a running nerd. I love running. I love learning about the science behind it, sports physiology, nutrition, racing, ultras, metabolism, running shoes, psychology… pretty much all of it.
I’ve been coaching since 2025, so I’m still pretty new to this space. I ran track in middle school and highschool so I’ve been running for a while now.
So far I have coached 10 of my friends as they have prepared for races. Check out my testimonials page to hear from some of them. Check out my blog posts to hear about running science and more specifics of my training theory.

Daily bread refers to the ritual of consuming what you need to for that day. Receiving something from outside of yourself that gives you life and lets you keep going. Specifically it refers to the story of the Israelites receiving bread from God every day while they wandered through the wilderness. Everyday God provided just enough for them to keep going.
